This smoothie is good for those who are health-conscious and want to lose or maintain their weight. This Green Ital Smoothie contains coconut water – which is rich in potassium and helps with diarrhea, hemp seeds – rich in essential oil and nutrients, and chia seeds. You can substitute honey for agave

Fresh moringa leaf can be used just add 1/4 cup of chopped leaves. Moringa dried leaves can also be used, just use 1 1/2.

Ice and water should be added in small portions depending on the desired thickness.

Honey, agave or any sweeteners should be used to your own taste.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup watercress

  • Honey (to taste)

  • 1 tsp spirulina

  • 1 tbs moringa leaf powder

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • Splash of water (depends of how thick you like it)

  • 1 tsp maca

  • 2 tsp hemp seeds

  • 2 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 whole green apple (sliced)

  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 tsp flaxseed

  • Ice (depends on how thick you like it)

Directions

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender except for the water, ice, honey (agave)
  • Add water – use your own discretion, add up to a 1/4 cup depending on how thick you want it
  • Add ice (depending on thickness level) then blend
  • Finally add honey, agave or any organic sweeteners to taste then blend one final time.
