WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

COVID-19 or corona-virus that first started in Wuhan, China in December 2019.

Symptoms: dry cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat, or unexplained loss of taste and/or smell.

COVID-19 have also caused many deaths

Contagious: the virus can be spread from person to person. It is believed that the virus can be spread from body fluids which include; breathing, coughing, sneezing, touching.

Medicine: There are no cures or vaccines at the moment.

Prevention: frequent hand-washing, coughing into the elbow, take vitamin-C, drink hot fluids, drink plenty of water, and staying home when you are sick.

Stop The Spread

WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY 

Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

MAINTAIN PHYSICAL DISTANCING 

Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

AVOID TOUCHING EYES, NOSE, MOUTH

Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose, or mouth.

SEEK MEDICAL CARE EARLY

Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention, and call in advance.
