Simple, fresh authentic Jamaican coleslaw recipe. Eaten best with Jamaican Fried Chicken or Curry goat.

Equipment

  • Large bowl
  • Large spoon
  • Grater
  • Knife

Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage (thinly sliced or grated)
  • 1/2 whole medium onion (shredded)
  • 1 1/2 cups Carrot (shredded )
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar (or honey)

Instructions 

  • Combine cabbage, carrot and onion. Use your fingers or a fork evenly mix.
  • Add mayonnaise.
  • Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
