Simple, fresh authentic Jamaican coleslaw recipe. Eaten best with Jamaican Fried Chicken or Curry goat.

- 4 cups shredded cabbage (thinly sliced or grated)
- 1/2 whole medium onion (shredded)
- 1 1/2 cups Carrot (shredded )
- 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 1 pinch Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Sugar (or honey)
Combine cabbage, carrot and onion. Use your fingers or a fork evenly mix.
Add mayonnaise.
Add salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
