Cabbage is very healthy and promotes good gut health. Cabbage can be steamed, cooked or boil. Boil cabbage makes a healthy Vegetable Soup,and steam cabbage makes the most delicious breakfast recipe.

- 1 whole whole large cabbage
- 2 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- 3 sprigs thyme
- 1 spring scallion
- 1 whole small onion (or half a medium onion)
Slice or shred cabbage into small to medium sizes.
Set heat to low
Add onion to the pot and stir. Once the onion is caramelized, remove it from the pot.
Add shredded cabbage to the pot and turn up the fire to medium.
Add a pinch or two of salt and black pepper to taste.
Stir for 2 minutes.
Reduce heat to low, cover pot, and let the cabbage steam for 5 to 8 minutes or until it is firm but edible.
Please note the cabbage must not be too soft or hard.
Taste and add salt and black pepper if needed.
Turn off heat and serve
